Dress for Art
Dressing simply is key when visiting the Nassau County Museum of Art on a late-summer afternoon. I kept my outfit to a four piece minimum that left me looking stylish, and feeling comfortable while admiring art. I chose to wear a light-colored graphic tee to stay cool, and tucked that into simple khaki shorts. I paired this look with blue accessories to match the blue graphic on my shirt. My denim hat was a perfect way to not have to worry about my hair, and the spiky blue loafers added a little kick to my look!
The Nassau County Museum of Art is a must-see destination located just outside the New York City boroughs. Currently, it houses an amazing food-themed exhibit called, Feast for the Eyes, that is in town until August 6th. Check out yesturday's post on the show here. Apart from their temporary shows, they have an incredible sculpture garden with stunning pieces you must see.
